The National Crime Records Bureau, abbreviated to NCRB, is an Indian government agency responsible for collecting and analysing crime data. It works on the guidelines defined by the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Special and Local Laws (SLL). NCRB is headquartered in New Delhi and is part of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India

The client (NCRB) was looking for a tool which can provide users access to a wide range of business analytics functionality to help them make well-informed decisions, faster. Basically, the major challenge was to automate the entire process and bring up an idea of self-service analytics software to carry out their day to day requirements.
